Ode An Juni / Ode To June # 1 (2008) It's summer, it's 30 degrees C, it's tropical in Berlin. The swallows fly high above me singing. I do nothing except reading a
book, eating ice cream, eating asparagus, drinking coffee, and now it's
time for a beer! Ode An Juni / Ode To June # 2 (2014) Film festival, swimming pool, bike riding, rain worm, balcony life, cherries, ukulele, french fries, Heisenberg salad, airfield and so much more!
So much rain ... and swans and paper ships and champagne and strawberry developings and the very last asparagus of the year! Ode An Juni / Ode To June # 4 (2016) There's a hipster sitting down there, playing guitar, you can hardly hear him at all thanks god ... and what do I see there? Little greenies, super!
This June I travel a lot. City, country, mountain lake. Cherry mustard, Campari, Mojito icecream. train, tram, bicycle. Linden flowers, striped zucchini, mini strawberry.
I do not remember exactly what I did when, I'm definitely extremely much in my darkroom in those days, cleaning up, developing, cleaning up for the next two workshops that are soon coming up and I just bustle like crazy. I love my darkroom!
A lot will change this year. From August 1st I will have a year off from my normal job. A sabbatical year. I am so excited and I know: I am doing it just right. I don't know exactly how I'm going to fund all of this, but I'll make it, I'm sure.
Helloooo, it's June again and this year feels different ...
Byebye Sweden, quarantine, weird dove noises ... I bustle in the darkroom, splashing eco developers ... but now I have to go out to the country for a few days. Jittering elderberries! And then comes the rain to my city. June, I love you!
Forest, Braunschweig, lake, heat, developing with henna and rhubarb, a big ice cream ... and then the shit comes and changes my life.
The days blur, the nights are almost light, I don't know how many days are left in June, it sometimes seems endless to me, but it's not. No, not at all. I feel in between universe-ish.
A June feeling with green-blue, a burrito blackbird, lots of train journeys, rhubarb and rabbits, Tuttifruttol and thoughts about hanging around.
