"Many years ago the Baltic Sea was saltless. This island was much smaller and there were only a few grunty fishermen and their wives and children and Asta Nielsen and Gerhart Hauptmann.

The dunes were full of salt frogs. As they had no natural enemies they became bigger and more arrogant and spit out big words.

One day they spit so greatly that Asta Nielsens sandwich got all wet. But she ate it and suddenly realized how good salty frog saliva tastes!"
