“Again a very beautiful and personal film. Interesting that this time June appears rather overcast and dark, as if it wanted to challenge its filmmaker particularly.
And yet memorable scenes happen: guests come over to make music, cows pose, stawberries create red pictures, we look back at old film scenes, and despite dreary weather sunny solarization effects occur, showing that life does give us the nicest surprises when you least expect.
A kind of Walden diary à la Mekas, only with a lot of champagne, vivacity and cheerfulness!”
